AACFM is a gateway for information and events that support mindfulness-based approaches, practices and education.


AACFM will donate 20% of all fees collected to not-for-profit, non-sectarian organizations dedicated to

fostering contemplative practice as a means to cultivate social change and build resiliency in our society.

 For 2014, The Center for Investigating Healthy Minds  will receive these funds.

This 6-week class is an introduction for mental health professionals who are interested in learning more about mindfulness as a fundamental aspect of the therapeutic process. It will support participants in cultivating a personal mindfulness practice. Class will include learning formal and informal mindfulness practices, readings, discussion, and case consultation from a mindfully-informed perspective. Clinicians of all theoretical orientations welcome. No meditation experience necessary.
